WiFi 7 Tri-Band Connectivity

The UDR7 includes an integrated tri-band WiFi 7 access point operating on the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. It supports modern WiFi 7 devices while maintaining compatibility with WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, WiFi 5, and earlier wireless standards.

High-Speed 6 GHz WiFi

The 6 GHz radio supports theoretical wireless throughput of up to 5.7 Gbps and uses 2×2 DL/UL MU-MIMO. The additional 6 GHz spectrum provides greater wireless capacity for compatible WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 devices.

High-Performance 5 GHz WiFi

The 5 GHz radio supports theoretical throughput of up to 4.3 Gbps and 2×2 DL/UL MU-MIMO, providing fast wireless connectivity for streaming, video conferencing, cloud applications, gaming, and large file transfers.

Reliable 2.4 GHz Wireless Connectivity

The 2.4 GHz radio provides up to 688 Mbps of theoretical throughput and offers broad compatibility with smart home equipment, IoT devices, mobile devices, and other wireless clients.

10G SFP+ WAN Connectivity

The integrated 10G SFP+ port provides a high-speed WAN interface for compatible SFP+ modules and transceivers. This makes the UDR7 suitable for multi-gigabit internet services and high-performance network infrastructure.

2.5 GbE Multi-Gigabit Networking

The UDR7 provides four 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, supporting 2.5 GbE, 1 GbE, 100 Mbps, and 10 Mbps Ethernet connections. This allows compatible computers, switches, access points, cameras, and other network devices to operate at multi-gigabit speeds.

Integrated PoE Output

One 2.5 GbE RJ45 port provides PoE output with a 15.4 W power budget. A compatible UniFi device can therefore receive both power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable.

Advanced IDS and IPS Security

The UDR7 provides up to 2.3 Gbps of IDS/IPS throughput, allowing intrusion detection and prevention features to operate alongside high-speed routing and network traffic management.

UniFi Application Suite

The Dream Router 7 supports UniFi Network, UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, UniFi Talk, and UniFi Connect. This allows compatible networking, surveillance, access control, communication, and connected devices to be managed from a centralized UniFi interface.

Support for 30+ UniFi Devices

The UDR7 can manage more than 30 UniFi devices, providing room to expand a network with additional UniFi access points, switches, cameras, and other compatible equipment.

The UDR7 includes a stateful firewall and application-aware Layer 7 firewall, together with deep packet inspection, traffic identification, content filtering, intrusion detection and prevention, ad blocking, and zone-based firewall filtering.

802.1Q VLAN support allows administrators to separate guest, employee, IoT, surveillance, and management traffic into dedicated logical networks for improved security and network organization.

VPN support includes WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP, and IPsec, while Teleport and Identity Endpoint provide remote-access options. Site Magic provides license-free SD-WAN connectivity between compatible UniFi locations.

The UDR7 supports OSPF dynamic routing, advanced QoS, multicast DNS, advanced NAT, integrated RADIUS, RADIUS over TLS, IPv6, IGMP proxy, customizable DHCP, and policy-based WAN and VPN routing.

Compact Desktop Design
