This spare 452195-001 battery was was made in 2 different voltage versions. A 14 volt version and an 11 volt version. You can check your original HP battery to see which one you have. Voltage ratings on batteries are usually rounded up or down to deal with fractions. A 10.8 volt battery is the same as a 11.1 volt battery. Also, a 14.4 volt battery is the same as a 14.8 volt battery. Many laptops can use either voltage as the battery cartridge itself is identical. However on some 14 volt versions, the 11 volt battery will not have enough power to function properly.
